May note that soldiers who have been part of the Hand for over a year are in incredibly robust health and the top of their physical condition. Soldiers who experience listlessness put it down as battle weariness, fatigue from the incredibly exhaustive training programme or the result of fasting to make their bodies battle-ready, lean (and mean).
