Morale keeper — tasked with regularly visiting soldiers, particularly new recruits, and upkeeping their mental health. Must frequently talk to soldiers. Has discretion on what must be reported to the higher ups and must choose wisely on what to confide to disciplinarians. At the same time, must uncover soldiers who are a risk to themselves... and, above all, to their brothers or the Hives.

May note new soldiers are increasingly listless, obedient and spiritually broken within six months of joining. Some of the new recruits confess their concerns over keeping up with the training regime, while others praise it and the might of the Hand. Many appear proud of their posts, taking on their membership to the Hand as their new identity.
