(actual) ground rules
Jan. 8th, 2021 03:45 pm→ Please play nice and be welcoming to players who are new to the game or to roleplaying. That’s it, that’s the gist of it. → No out-of-character (OOC) hostility, intimidation, crowding out of other players, in-character (IC) godmoding, infomoding, fourth-walling, blurring of ye olde IC/OOC line. → Do your best to strike an acceptable compromise with players you disagree with, but don’t hesitate to reach out for mod help, if things escalate. → Cut & warn/label any graphic content. → Try not to hoard quests, plot-leading roles, magical items. Some characters will organically end up more proactive, but sharing is caring, there's no I in team, long live clichés. → Eastbound is a player-led plot exercise, so players will be counting on you to deliver the plot elements you volunteer for. If you repeatedly overstretch in terms of plot involvement and fail to deliver, you won’t be assigned plot leadership roles for the short term, til things wind down on your side. → Have fun?
