Eastbound is primarily an invite-only game — each existing player can currently invite up to one person per month, or get in touch about further invites. Existing players can hold two characters in game. A third character can be applied, if players can prove they have met activity requirements for two consecutive months with their existing two characters and have stayed engaged with the game. If you don't have an invite, somehow stumbled upon this neck of the woods, and you’d like to stay, drop the mod journal a line — we'll try to figure it out.
As of Oct. 1, cast/game caps are off. Please note, as of Dec. 1, Eastbound only has 3-4 months of gameplay left.
WHAT CHARACTERS CAN BE APPLIED?
YES: canon and original characters, if they have a solid and consistent personality and background. Characters brought in after they've died are a-okay. For characters taken from a time point just as they're in the process of dying, please read below on meeting medical requirements.
NO (at this time): real people, original characters set in a canon environment, characters from canons or canon instalments that have been released for less than one month, characters with imported development from other games (CRAU), alternate universe, or gender-swapped versions of canon characters.
Children or characters with very specific medical/magical/environment needs: appable, but please make a note of how your character will ICly meet their requirements and stay alive. Likewise, if you are applying for a character taken just as they're dying, provide a suggestion for how they can be kept alive on arrival (this might be easier in some app cycles than others). You can bend the world a little to make miracles happen (ex: a substitute for the medication your character needs to survive can be found for a high price at certain apothecaries, etc.)
Characters that were dropped or swept by activity checks: yes, but they’ll come back without their previous memories, if they are applied in by a different player.

I think for this I would prefer Anduin's entrance quest to be solo personally, so that Anduin (and I) can have the time to wrap our brains around this new environment without holding anyone back.
ACCEPTED
Thank you for your application!

NOTES
No time like the present to break the pacifist. At some point of your choice this month — before, during or just after the coup — the Merchant contacts Anduin with a simple assignment: apprehend and kill donna Rigarda, a former associate and close friend of the now sadly ill-favoured Bonaccorso Spina. Taravast, magical jewel of the continent, bought its freedom from undead invasion by paying frequent tribute to the brotherhood of death kings. At Bonaccorso’s behest, Rigarda organised entire shipments of magical weapons that paid for Taravast’s survival — while shattering that of other citadels, which have slowly been falling to the dead.
The Merchant argues he simply wishes justice restored. The sorceress Karsa, the Merchant’s collaborator within Taravast, informs Anduin in which of the smaller abandoned palaces of the gentry Rigarda has retreated to wait out the coup. She is fairly, but not exceedingly guarded — by only eight men, with no magic to spare. Should he wish to avoid the bloodshed of a direct attack, Anduin can obtain the help of fellow party members who have an air of authority (such as Lee Chang, Emilia, Rufus Shinra, Beitang Moran, Su Xunxian, Zuko, Alina Starkov, Jiang Cheng, Achilles… ) or who have assisted servants ( Chu Wanning, Xiao Xingchen, The Doctor ) and either pretend to be a delegation of visiting gentry or infiltrate through the kitchens. Of course, a simple attack will also do.
Either way, capture Rigarda — or don’t, Karsa says, but don’t tell the sorceress so. She is obliged to report back to the Merchant, but admits she understands Rigarda's reasons, to an extent. Karsa herself is a daughter of gelid wasteland Sa-Hareth, which has been repeatedly conquered by undead lords. She would have paid any price to avoid these battles.
Anduin would be best served to talk a plan of action with his new party friends (perhaps a network post might be easiest?) — whether to capture and interrogate Rigarda, leave her be, or do the Merchant a solid and kill her — and make his choice. No pressure, but Rigarda’s death or survival will significantly change the course of future interaction with the brotherhood of undead.
