All game-relevant updates will be posted on lostcompass, but you can also consider following eastbound. There is an informal optional game discord server — you’ll get a private message with an invite, once you comment to the Taken List.
Like it says on the application page tin — you can have a maximum of three characters in the game, and you can invite one new person in per month.
If you’re not already served on that front, we have some custom codes to help you set up a character inbox or permissions post. Both are entirely optional, and feel free to customise at will!

MENU OPTIONS: We actually have a couple of vampires around, and they’ve got free rein to feast on NPCs. Damon may need to exercise a bit more discretion with his dining habits for the first few days at sea, when he’s snacking on pirates in a relatively confined space — ideally, he would try not to rouse too much suspicion or outright kill anyone, just because you don’t want a criminal investigation run by individuals who are frequently overcome by their temper and their fleas. But if Damon is open to faking a pirate scuffle that conveniently killed a few folks he fed on, why not? We all know spirits run hot and rum-stoked at, say, the below-deck gambling tables. Damon may have ampler opportunity to feast to his heart’s content in our second travel log. We also have rats aboard the ships, an excellent protein source, and, should worse come to worst, our domestic cannibal Kaneki can share the remains of deceased sailor Ishmael. If Damon is short on Omega-3s, we can fish him a mermaid.
INTRO: Since you’re more in the mood for a plot-light arrival, let’s have Damon join the party during our latest event. He stays a nominal crew member of the Queen Zanyra — he can travel by rowboat and spend as much time on the Pariah as he likes, but he is guaranteed a sleeping hammock and a meal (he can’t consume) on the Queen Zanyra. If you decide to sink Damon’s teeth into something plottier, we’ll have our plot roll sign-ups tomorrow — you can get a sense of what’s on the table then.
That said, since Damon has a very keen sense of sight and light sensitivity (diminished by his daylight) — you can choose to have him observe or conclude the following: as the ships enter the Crossing, it’s not that the sun is covered by a very thick fog and slate clouds. It's that it feels as if there is no sun. Consider telling the others!
