    NOTES

  • INTRO:
Welcome back to master Hendrik, who washes literally ashore near the village of Ke-Waihu. He receives no real welcome once he enters the village, and may need to find for himself in the streets, until he’s inevitably collected by the informally ruling Hok-Shinn gang clan. They appear at first intent to teach this hooligan a lesson about loitering — but the leader of this particular contingent recognises something in Hendrik’s mien. Moments later, after consulting a few papers, he rushes to release Hendrik and supply him a communication and translation device, muttering that the old man is due to be making his delivery of many like his lot soon.

Hendrik gets to spend two lovely days knowing Ke-Waihu before the other party members arrive. He can notice that the villagers appear increasingly agitated as they start to prepare for elaborate and excessive nuptial festivities, with several dozens of weddings seemingly planned. The number of villagers appears to gradually increase.

Once the Salamera II discharges, the biologist Enam, who a collaborator of the Merchant who escorted the group during their journey to Ellethia, takes Hendrik in, confirms that was once with the party, then takes him through the Story So Far. From hereon, Hendrik enjoys the same dubious arrival privileges as his peers.
