I should have mentioned this with Vanessa's update, sorry! It's nothing major just a little upgrade. Before it was 'theoretical' for her but now she can consciously use her magic to summon predatory animals; probably keeping it to creepy crawlies (scorpions, spiders, etc.) and small beasties like snakes and such (always with content warnings). Is that something that will need to be powered down for the game?
