I wouldn't feel 100% comfortable with forcing the game mechanic equivalent of a miscarriage on her, I'll be honest.

I'd recommend going with the earlier timepoint. Fully appreciate it sets you back in terms of character development, and also that it might halve or completely eradicate the character's appeal for you — so I wouldn't blame you if you said, yeah, hard pass on the pass. It's one of those things where I don't see a very good solution.

We could consider options a la, 'Here's a potion that keeps the pregnancy safe and protected, and also arrests it from developing!' But then we'd have to account for why characters who are in game and suffer from terminal or chronic diseases didn't get the same MacGuffin. So it'd be convoluted. My honest recommendation would be to go with the earlier timepoint.
